IN MEMORIAM..., no. 3, 2008

On october 5th 2008 would be three years since Professor Doctor Cezar Th. Niculescu left us, in full creative strength.
He started his didactic activity in 1963 as universitary fellow at the Anatomy Cathedra of Medicine and Pharmacy University in Bucharest, where he accomplished all the universitary degrees up to the professoral position.
All this time he performed a remarkable didactic and research activity, presenting many interesting scientific works, monographies and student courses.
As a colleague at the Anatomy Cathedra, I admired his teaching talent during the work with students or the resident doctors and the apprehension on the research themes of the Cathedra that was run then by wonderful Professor Emil Repciuc, a huge personality of the Romanian medical world.
In fact, Cezar Niculescu had didactic skill, teaching vocation and was gifted for students training.
As a Romanian medicine messenger in Africa, he professionally and rigorously instructed the first and second year students of the Congo Medicine Faculty, being ellogiated by the Board of the Kinshasa University and the Romanian External Affairs Ministry.
He was a member of the Balkan Medical Union, where he developed an important activity, being remarked inside the national department.
Professor Dr. Cezar Niculescu - will remain in his colleagues and students memory for the great teaching qualities and as a personality of the Romanian medicine.
