Calcific Uremic Arteriolopathy in Hemodialyzed Patients

In the present article, we discuss the case of 67-year-oldfemale patient diagnosed with inferior limbs calciphylaxisand hemodialyzed since 2006. The clinical manifestationsand pathological lab findings are typical for this rare and extremely severe complication in chronic hemodialyzedindividuals. The favorable treatment response to sodiumthiosulfate, not often used as elected therapy in internationalstudies, represents the particularity of the case.
